Live365 takes pride in being able to be configured on multiple platforms. There are a number of 3rd-party applications that you can use in conjunction with Live365. LiveWebDJ is a online scheduling and automation web-based application. LiveWebDJ is a great alternative for broadcasting playlists with the option to insert live drops on your Live365 stream.

First, make sure you are editing the station where you want to make these changes. Highlight and click the station name to select it. If you are unfamiliar with how to navigate this part of Live365, please see this help article which describes dashboard navigation.

Once you have selected the appropriate station, you will be taken to that Station's Menu page. From this page, you will be able to navigate and make changes and adjustments to your station.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to configure Live Web DJ to work with Live365:

Step 1) Go to LiveWebDJ and register for an account.

Step 2) Open your Live365 Broadcaster Dashboard. (Login Required)

Step 3) Select Sources -> Live DJ from the left column Station Menu. Locate the "Encoder Settings" area as shown below:

NOTE: Leave this window open in your browser. You will need to input this information into LiveWebDJ. For accuracy, it is recommended that you copy (ctrl c) and paste (ctrl p) these settings directly into the encoder.

Step 4) Login to your LiveWebDJ.com account & click on "Settings" from the left hand panel.

Step 5) Click on "Output Encoders"  and fill out the encoder information as indicated in Step 3 above:

NOTE: There is no "Save" button. This page Auto-Saves.

Step 6) Click on "Dashboard" from the left hand panel.

Assuming your station is off the air, click on "Off The Air" to toggle your station to go on the air.  Otherwise, if you're already on the air and simply adding an encoder (or making changes to your existing encoder): Click on "On The Air." This will toggle your station to go online. By connecting a live stream, you will override any scheduled Events and AutoDJ in Live365 Broadcaster.

Allow your dashboard to refresh.

LiveWebDJ can strip out any non-alphabetic characters in MP3 file metadata. In order for the ad triggers to work correctly, the files need to remain unchanged. If you see that your Ad Trigger files are displayed as ADBREAK90000 1 instead of ADBREAK_90000 1, then you'll need to fix the titles of the ad triggers.

Please remember that even when you are broadcasting live, your files must transmit the correct metadata for copyrighted content (Artist - Title). If you are part of the Ad Revenue Share Program, you need to also manually insert our ad trigger files.
