As with AutoDJ, you can also use the crossfade feature during scheduled events. Cross-fading can add a nice transition between tracks during Playlists and ClockWheels.

First, make sure you are editing the station where you want to make these changes. Highlight and click the station name to select it. If you are unfamiliar with how to navigate this part of Live365, please see this help article which describes dashboard navigation.

Once you have selected the appropriate station, you will be taken to that station's menu page. From this page, you will be able to navigate and make changes and adjustments to your station.

In AutoDJ, you have the ability to set cross-fades when scheduling Playlists as well as ClockWheels. The setting itself (indicated in number of seconds) is controlled in the AutoDJ menu. On the station navigation menu, click "Sources" then "AutoDJ."

In the AutoDJ settings, you can select your preferred number of seconds for your cross-fade or you can elect to have no cross-fading by entering "0" (seconds).

Note: The following Track Types are not cross-faded: ID's & Ad Triggers.

Crossfades can be turned on or off for each event in the event window, just like making an event Strict or Flexible. You'll want to be sure you review your setting for each event that you schedule, as you may choose to schedule events with no cross-fading in them.

Note: The Crossfade setting only applies to each individual event or when creating a series of recurring events.

The duration of the cross-fade will likely affect the anticipated length of the event. The estimated time that the playlist will run with crossfades is indicated below. This time is only approximate based on your current crossfade settings.

As of now, the cross-fade estimates do not work correctly if you organize playlists by hand. If you want to see your runtime that includes the cross-fade estimate after making an order change to your playlist, it is best to save your playlist and then reopen it.
