Live365 and Amazon Alexa+
As of February 2026, Amazon rolled out the latest version of Alexa by launching Alexa+. Amazon’s next-generation, AI-powered assistant – Alexa+ – is currently in an Early Access testing phase.
Because Alexa+ is still in active development, some Live365 broadcasters and listeners have reported functionality issues when trying to use Alexa Skills with this updated version.
How to disable Alexa+ for better stability
If you are experiencing issues using the Live365 skill on an Alexa+-enabled device, you can temporarily opt out of the Early Access version to restore standard functionality.
- From your Alexa Device: Speak directly to your device and say, “Alexa, exit Alexa+” or “Alexa, disable Alexa+”
- Without an Alexa Device: Alexa+ cannot be disabled from the Alexa App or Alexa.com. If you do not have physical access to the device, you must contact Amazon Support directly online or by phone at 1-888-280-4331 to request to have Alexa+ removed from your Amazon subscription.
