You may notice that some tracks have "null" listed next to their title once they are inserted into a playlist. This article will explain how to correct this.

When creating playlists, some tracks may not have the year in their metadata, and they will look like this:

The first track has "1969" and the last two have "null" set as the year. Missing year metadata on a track does not affect scheduling or playback, so this is a cosmetic discrepancy.

In order to correct this, you will have to navigate to Media ➡ Tracks, click on that specific track, and then add the year in the corresponding metadata field.

Be sure to save your changes by clicking the orange "Save" button.

Note: The "null" text only shows up in the Playlist Editor, and not in the media ibrary. The Media Library view shows a blank space when the year metadata is missing.
