This is how you can change the information displayed on your profile page and pop-out player: station logo, cover art, music genres, station description, and social media links.

Tip: You may have access to 1 or more Live365 stations. See our Dashboard Navigation article to learn more about selecting the station which you want to work with. Once on that Station's Overview page, you can then follow along.

First, navigate to the Station Profile tab of the Station Menu.

Station Profile tab

The settings in this tab will affect the look of your station in the Live365 station directory and Mobile Apps.

You can adjust your station logo, station name, music genres, cover art, social media links, and station description (all pictured above).

Station Profile Cover Art

On your Station Profile page in the Live365 directory, your station logo will be backed by cover art of your choice. Changing the cover art is a great way to make your Station Profile page stand out!

At the top of the Station Profile pane, you will see your current cover art. To upload cover art, click Upload Cover Image on the bottom right corner of your cover art. For best results, please upload cover art that is 828px wide by 295px tall. Any standard image format is fine, but we do not recommend uploading images that are higher in size than 2MB.

Don’t forget to click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the pane when you're done making any changes.

Station Logo

Below your cover art, you will see your current station logo.

The ideal size for your station logo is 300px by 300px, but most importantly your image should be square. Click on the Upload Station Logo  button to change your station logo. You will need to have the new image already saved on your device. Any standard image format is fine (.jpg, .gif, etc.).

Your station logo is shown in the Live365 station directory and on your Live365 Station Profile page. Your logo will also appear at the top of your station’s pop-out player.

Don’t forget to click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the pane when you're done making any changes.

Station Name, Genres, & Station Description

Also just below your cover art, you will see your station name, genres, and station description.

You can change your station name by typing in the Station Name text box. Station names should be no more than 40 characters long.

To the right of Station Name, you will see an area where you can add genres. You have probably already added a few genres already in your initial station set-up. Adding genres will help your listeners get a better idea of the style of music that you’re playing. Click the drop-down button to see the pre-generated genres you can choose from. The Live365 station directory is sorted according to music genres. Your station will appear under multiple categories if you list multiple genres here. You can choose up to 5 genres. You can scroll through the genres or begin typing a genre like “Blues” in the text box and the main genres and sub genres will also appear for you to choose from. If you do not see a genre you need and you’d like to have it included in the directory, email our support team or submit a ticket.

Just below Station Name and Genres you will see Short Description. This is where you can write a station description that will appear on your Station Profile page in the Live365 station directory.

Don’t know what to write? Try to describe the genres of music you play, your favorite artists, your station's mission, or let your listeners know a little bit about yourself and where you’re from. The content of your station description is up to you!

Don’t forget to click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the pane when you're done making any changes.

Social Links

The links in this section will appear on your pop-out player and on your Live365 Station Profile page, as shown above.

Enter your social media links in each text box. If you don’t have a certain social media profile, just leave the text box blank. The unused icons will not appear on your station page or pop-out player. Please make sure to have the URL start with http:// or https://

Don’t forget to click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the pane when you're done making any changes.
