The Live365 web Dashboard is designed to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), an internationally recognized set of standards. WCAG focuses on making content easier to navigate, understand, and interact with, whether broadcasters rely on keyboards, screen readers, or other assistive technologies.

Keyboard Navigation

The web Dashboard supports consistent and predictable keyboard navigation across all interactive elements. You can easily move through the interface using standard accessible controls like:

  • Tab to move forward through buttons.
  • Shift + Tab to move backward.
  • Arrow keys to navigate within menus and lists.
  • Enter to activate buttons.
  • Spacebar for checkboxes, checklist items, and certain playlist actions.
  • Esc to close menus or exit focused elements.

Responsive Zoom and Layout Scaling

In order to ensure everyone can comfortably enlarge content without losing access to key features, the pages retain their structure and functionality when zoomed in. Wide layouts, such as station selection page, event scheduler or track tables, remain usable and readable at higher zoom levels.

Screen Reader Labeling

Buttons, menu items, and controls are labeled to ensure they are properly announced by screen readers.

Our engineers tested this capability using NVDA. While other screen readers were not explicitly tested, they are expected to behave in a similar fashion.

If you encounter any issues or use assistive technology that behaves unexpectedly as a result of these updates, we encourage you to reach out to our Support Team. Your feedback helps guide future improvements.
