When Song A plays live, you may start to experience that when Song B comes on, the metadata and song information do not synchronize with what is playing in exact real time. While there is a natural delay, we are dedicated to improving this over time so that it perfectly matches what is playing.

While our team works on getting the metadata display closer to real time, here's a brief explanation of why this is occurring:

The reason is the audio data transfer duration, as the music goes from your streaming computer to the Live365 servers, then to the listener, and it's then being played back in a web browser/mobile app. For now, there will always be a slight delay because the text-based metadata travels faster than the audio data. This does not affect the audience from a listening perspective as the music is all being played with no buffering and very close to real time.
