In order for the Live365 software to work correctly and to make sure that your station stays in compliance with DMCA and SoundExchange, the album name for each track should be as accurate as possible.
If a specific track does not belong to an album, the Performing Rights Organizations (PRO`s) and SoundExchange have approved the use of "Single" as part of the Album Title metadata when used as follows:
|Heroes||David Bowie||Heroes Single|
|Heroes||David Bowie||Heroes (Single)|
The album title needs to be composed of the track title and the word "Single." If you were to re-label all of your songs with the album field "Untitled Album" to "Single," then you'd run into the same issue: the software would think they are from the same album called "Single." The album field is how the system software handles DMCA rules and track rotation, so it's vital that you include the track title and the word "Single" for the album information when a track is not part of an album.
